Alissa White-Gluz
Alissa White-Gluz used to be the frontwoman of metalcore band The Agonist, and the now the band's lead vocalist for Swedish melodic death metal group Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz (born July 31 in 1985) is a Canadian singer, best known as the vocalist in charge of the Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy, and former leader vocalist, and founding member of the Canadian metalcore group the Agonist. Singing and growling (clean vocals) are a part of her distinctive vocal style. While she is mainly associated with the metalcore genre and melodic death metal her appearances have included the guest vocalist of powerful metal, symphonic rock and deathcore acts, such as Kamelot, Delain, Carnifex and Powerwolf, and has performed live alongside Nightwish as well as Tarja Turunen. White-Gluz (2004-2014). In the year 2004 White-Gluz along with her fellow band members Danny Marino, Chris Kells created The Agonist from Montreal, Quebec. White-Gluz released three albums during her time as The lead vocalist of the Agonist. They parted ways in the spring of 2014, when she accepted the offer to be the vocalist of Arch Enemy.
