Lisa Edelstein, an American actor best known for House which is a Fox medical drama series. Her family was from Wayne, in a conservative Jewish tradition. At the age of 18, she emigrated in New York City to study at Tisch School of the Arts. She soon became part of the New York club scene and began making headlines. Press also took notice of her. Eventually she used her training along with her fame and training to write and compose the musical Positive Me and also starred in it. Awake to the Wild Side, a show that she hosted on MTV was soon her task. After the show ended her appearances began in television and film productions, at first in small roles, and slowly established her place as an actor.
