Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is an American actor, singer, writer and producer. Most famously, she is known for her character Tara Maclay on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and was also the director and appeared in her own films Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred as her bridesmaid in the Kiss the Bride movie. Benson was the child, born on January 8th 1977, of Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Benson has a younger sister Danielle, who is an artist. Benson was born to a father who is Jewish as is her mother Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson is a performer featured in a variety of TV and film shows since Buffy ended, has also appeared in The Killing Jar. In the background, she put her writing skills into her Ghosts of Albion series and directed on projects like 2010's Drones.
