Harry

Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician from England. He was part of One Direction. He is the son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on February 1st, 1994 at Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, together with his fellow classmates, formed a musical band called White Eskimo. After they won the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to an excellent performance, they also participated in the Battle of Bands 2010. The musician was always fascinated by music but also wanted to work as an attorney, physiotherapist or even scout. In the past, he was employed as a part-time baker in his city with the aim of helping economically at home. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and was a part of Is not She Lovely, the Stevie Wonder song. He got selected. The reason for this was that his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles be part of a group called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group. They were first founded in the year 2010. During the competition the band played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group was one of the contenders to be the winner. Despite this, they finished third in front of Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles did not receive any cash prize. However, Cowell has offered a two million-pound contract to One Direction in order for them to join Syco Records.
