Kelly Clarkson was an American artist and songwriter who was the America's sweetheart when she won American Idol in the first series. Not only was she pushed into stardom by her win, but she also signed an agreement to record multiple albums through RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records. Since then, she's made numerous studio albums. Three have reached the US Billboard 200 charts while the others were only a hair way away. She is among the top artists to are emerging from American Idol. The singer began to play around with themes and songs as her success was growing. To acknowledge her talents and individuality, she has been rewarded with a variety of accolades and awards. She has also won the Grammy Award a record three times. Aside from her career in the field of music, she has also appeared on television and film. She also co-wrote the children's storybook River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved with a number of charities.
